Our Story

Natura Ceramica is a brand based in Amsterdam that creates interior art objects. We continue moving forward, constantly exploring and seeking out new forms and meanings. Utilizing the simplest and most ancient technique —hand-building — we craft modern volumes. Inspired by the positive emotions that nature provides, special attention is given to the conciseness of forms and the recognizability of their products. The focus is heavily on experiments combining ceramics with wood and coal. The hallmark of these creations lies in their texture, roughness, cracks, and irregularities, embodying a deep appreciation for the natural process of expression. The anomalies that emerge during creation are welcomed, imbuing the work with a unique charm, untamed beauty, and singular character. Rather than increasing production volumes, we aim to make each product as individual as possible.

Over the past few years, we have participated in exhibitions such as Collectible, PAN Amsterdam, Revelations, PAD Paris, Maison&Objet Paris, and Salon Art + Design. Our pieces have been showcased at the Salone del Mobile in collaboration with Poliform, Piet Boon, and Emmemobili.
