Ariadne’s Thread
A one-of-a-kind sculptural vessel from our new Ariadne’s Thread series. Conceived as an individual work of collectible ceramic art, each piece is entirely hand-built, allowing its form to emerge naturally through an intuitive and unrepeatable creative process.
An intricate network of loops, openings, and overlapping forms creates a continuous movement across the surface. Inspired by the myth of Ariadne, the work explores the idea of finding direction within complexity - where individual lines connect, disappear, and emerge again.
The vessel features our newly developed, custom-made glaze, created specifically for this series. Its deep charcoal tones and richly textured surface reveal the complexity of the form, giving the ceramic an almost volcanic character.
Each sculpture develops its own proportions, rhythm, and individual identity during the making process. While the works share a common artistic language, no two are ever identical. This particular piece is unique and will never be reproduced.
Created to exist as an independent sculptural object, the vessel can also accommodate decorative arrangements of dried flowers, branches, or other botanical elements. It is not watertight.
The artwork is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its originality and unique status.
